Adriatic beaches, Cavallino

The Cavallino-Treporti strip is Europe's densest concentration of campsites for a reason: shallow, gently shelving Adriatic water that reaches 26°C in August, serviced beaches with loungers, and Venice a boat ride away. It is organised rather than wild — expect umbrellas in rows — but for families with small children it is about as easy as European beach camping gets.
