Heide Park Resort

This is the park for families with teenagers: Colossos, Krake and Flug der Dämonen are proper thrill rides, and the queues are shorter than at the southern German parks. Younger children have their own areas but the balance tips towards over-tens. It sits in the Lüneburg Heath, which is worth a day itself when the heather flowers in August.
