Northern Europe's largest migrating dune: four million cubic metres of sand walking north-east across Jutland at roughly 15 metres a year, burying whatever is in its path. Climbing it takes ten minutes and feels absurdly like a desert. There is no shade and no facilities, which makes it a short stop rather than a day, but children love it and dogs can run.
