A 27 km return mountain hike to a thin rock tongue over Ringedalsvatnet.
A serious full-day mountain walk, not a tourist stroll. From the P2 Skjeggedal car park it is roughly 27 km return with 800 m of ascent, and most people are out for eight to twelve hours. The reward is a slab of rock jutting into thin air 700 m above the lake, and usually a queue to stand on it. Weather turns fast and snow lingers into June. Shuttle buses and a higher car park (P3) shorten the walk in high season.
